It dictates new tax relief measures, mainly in the real estate area, extending the 10% discount for property tax until the end of April, plus an additional benefit of 5% discount for natural and legal persons that have incomes of less than B / .2.5 million and that pay income tax and estimated tax with respect to fiscal period 2020 and 2021, correspondingly, within four months following the entry into force of this bill.

GASOLINE AND DIESEL PRICES WILL RECORD A DROP FROM FRIDAY
These prices will remain in effect until Friday, April 23.
A slight drop will be registered in the new maximum sale prices of liquid fuels in Panama that will take effect from 6:00 a.m. this Friday, April 9, 2011.
For the provinces of Panama and Colón, the price of a liter of 95 octane gasoline will cost B / .0.843 (-B / .0.010), while 91 octane gasoline will cost B / .0.822 (-B / .0.015 ).
On the other hand, the liter of diesel will also increase to B / .0.684 (-B / .0.027).
These fuel prices will remain in effect until 5:59 a.m. of Friday, April 23, 2021, as established in Official Gazette No. 29257 published this Wednesday.

KURT VONNEGUT
Just a few days shy of 14 years ago, Kurt Vonnegut passed away on April 11, 2007 at 84 years. He was one of myfavorite writers, simply because I could easily tell that he was batshit crazy and endlessly disappointed in humanity, but kinder than no other. Practically my soul brother. His death was, in itself, poetic to his nature as he simply fell and hit his head; the brain injury manifested a few weeks later, killing him instantly. A year earlier, at 83 years, he threatened to sue the makers of Pall Mall cigarettes stating, “The lying bastards! On the package, they promised to kill me!”
In honor of this genius, this wonderful man, (and his 14 novels), here are a few of his famous quotes:
